Please review our policies regarding the information we collect when you order from retromodern.com and the measures we take to safeguard that information.

Payment
retromodern.com accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card and money orders.

Sales Tax
retromodern.com charges no sales tax on any orders shipped outside the state of Georgia. If retromodern.com is not collecting your respective state's sales tax (if one exists), you are expected to comply with your respective state's laws regarding online purchases.

Domestic Shipping
All orders are shipped UPS or Bax Global unless otherwise specified. In stock orders are shipped within 24-72 hours. Shipping charges are base on the order total:

  -   between $1-50 add $7 shipping
  -   between $51-99 add $9 shipping
  -   over $100 ship free

Please note FREE shipping only applies to orders shipped within the continental U.S. Standard UPS and Bax Global shipping guidelines apply. In a few instances, items may incur a shipping surcharge due to their respective size; these items are specifically noted on the website.

Express shipments can be quoted Next Day Air Early AM, Next Day Air, Next Day Air Saver or 2nd Day Air. Saturday delivery is available for an extra charge. Orders needing express shipping quotes must be placed by 2PM ET to be processed the same day.

retromodern.com will split ship accessory orders for a charge of $9 per split.

Puerto Rico, Hawaii and Alaska
All orders to Puerto Rico, Hawaii and Alaska ship via USPS Priority Mail or Bax Global and will require a shipping quote from retromodern.com. Once the customer approves the rate quote, retromodern.com will process the purchase. retromodern.com will only ship orders to Puerto Rico, Hawaii and Alaska complete (there are no split shipments).

International Orders
International orders ship via USPS Global EMS service or Bax Global and will require a shipping quote from retromodern.com. Once the customer approves the rate quote, retromodern.com will process the purchase. retromodern.com will only ship international orders complete (there are no split shipments). Please note, you will be responsible for any taxes or duties your country collects on imported goods.

In addition, retromodern.com cannot ship Herman Miller or Knoll products outside of the US.

Special Orders
Special orders are defined as any product which is not regularly stocked by retromodern.com. Such items would include upholstered furniture and or case goods where finishes and fabrics are selected by the customer -- these items are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Lead times for special orders vary by manufacturer and are meant as an approximation not a guarantee. retromodern.com appreciates your understanding and will consistently do our best to assure timely delivery of your special order.

Order Cancellation
Orders for in stock merchandise may be cancelled within 1 business day for full refund (please allow 10 business days for processing).

Special orders and out of stock merchandise may be cancelled within 2 business days for full refund. Special orders cancelled after 2 business days may be subject to a 25% cancellation fee dependent on the manufacturer.

Returns
Returns are accepted on all items except: special orders, sale items, polycarbonate items and dinnerware/flatware sets, within 30 days for store credit. All returned items must include original packing materials and the merchandise must be in unused saleable condition. Returns must be pre-authorized by calling 877-724-0093. Returns received and not pre-authorized will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

There will be no reimbursement of shipping charges to or from retromodern.com. Any purchases or exchanges due to returns are not covered under the free shipping offer (retromodern.com will charge $9 for shipping or the applicable shipping surcharge). Refunds are not issued except in the case of defective merchandise we are unable to replace (please allow 10 business days for processing).

Store credit is valid for one year from date of issue. Thereafter, unused credit is forfeited.

A refusal of shipment is billable for both return and original shipping costs. Actual shipment cost is based upon freight billing incurred by retromodern.com.

Defective or Damaged Shipments
Claims for defective or damaged items must be filed within 14 days of delivery. Please inspect your purchase and its packaging immediately upon delivery. If for some reason there should be damage or a defect, please notify us so that we may rectify the situation. UPS usually requires an inspection in the event of damage so please hold onto all packing materials and the item until further notice. Claims received after 14 days of delivery will not and cannot be processed.

Order Status
Customers who have established a customer account on the retromodern.com website may login using their respective email address and associated password to view previous orders, check the status of current orders, and receive tracking information regarding orders that have been shipped.

Customer Account
You are responsible for keeping your account and password confidential and agree to be responsible for any activities that occur with access to your account by those other than yourself.

User Guaranty
When you place an order online you guarantee that you are over 18 years of age and that all information regarding the order is true.  You further guarantee that you have the authority to place an online order.

Customer Account Closure
retromodern.com reserves the right to close an account if you have violated the policies described herein or have provided false information in placing an online order through the retromodern.com website.
